Who composes the JW music?
by JH inwho composed the songs in the song book "sing praises to jehovah", and who decides what song is suitable or not?
the song book is almost 20 years old, and i wonder if they will come out with a new song book?.
although a few songs are nice, i find that most of them are dull.

Do you really think ? EARTH could be blown up ??? is there enough bombs ???
by run dont walk ini remember reading many watchtower/awake magazines that stated "there is enough bombs on this planet to blow it up 7 times over.
" (wish i had copies of the quotes/and pictures).. and after watching the scenes in terminator 3 of the earth being desolated by machines.. and after watching the war in afghanistan and iraq and seeing how many bombs the us used in these "small countries" with unreal precision.
i really doubt if it possible to destroy the whole planet, even if they wanted to.

I really doubt if it possible to destroy the whole planet, even if they wanted to. How many cities in each country and how many buildings??? Don't get me wrong, I think alot of damage could be done. But destroy the whole planet earth ??? I don't think so. Maybe if they went to the earth's core and caused a domino effect , MAYBE.
Was this simply another scare tactic by religions ???
Oh, the world will be destroyed and only God can save us !!!!!!
Even with the terrible terriost attack of 9/11. (may they rest in peace, all those who lost their lives) only destroyed two buildings in the USA, so how many buildings are still standing, 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 ??? I don't think there is enough airplanes to bring them all down.
And I don't think there is enough bombs (WOMD) to destroy this whole planet.
What do you think ???
Hopefully we get some answers from some with military experience who might have more knowledge about what is available in weaponery.

Case In Canada Sets Precedent For Future Lawsuits
by rainbow2003 inthis is to commend vicki boer for having pressed her lawsuit successfully against the watchtower itself, thus setting a precedent for future lawsuits.
it is regretted that the judge did not reward her more than a mere $5,000 which won't even start to pay for the hassle, but future judges can now use the precedent and some may award other victims of watchtower pedophilia in the millions of dollars.

Who 'REALLY' abstains from blood in the WTS?
by BLISSISIGNORANCE ini was not raised a dub and was 'in' for only 12 years so there are 'many' things i don't know about the borg, that's why i ask alot of questions.
this is just another question that came into my mind some time ago and would appreciate any thoughts or opinions.. in the whole time i associated with jws, i never heard of any member of the gb/anointed/ anything above the r&f..........your 'average' publisher..........dying from refusing blood.. every experience i ever read about in the wts magazines was either about young adult jws/dear old faithful bro.
or sister so-and-so/ children and their obedient parents, making a decision to refuse blood and choose death.................because real life in the paradise earth was worth more than extending life in this system.

DOES SATAN EXIST?

by searchfothetruth inthe stories coming out of italy at the moment are unbelievable.. berlusconi is the italian prime minister.
he is also the countries biggest media mogul and the president of real madrid football club.. he recently telephoned a live television debate on italy's top political program and shouted at the presenter,( for daring to bring up the scandal that is facing berlusconi ) and said to him ' you are a public sector worker, know your place!'.
he then took the program off the air and sacked the presenter.

JWs always become frightened....

a few weeks ago i was outside doing the old yardwork routine: mow my postage stamp size of a yard, trim the bushes, edge it.
it was saturday and the jws were once again working my street.
